U.S. 2020 Presidential Election Classification Study
(July 2024 - August 2024)
- Preprocessed and visualized 3000+ entries of US Census Bureau county data using tidymodels and ggplot in R
- Predicted winner of Presidential election by implementing ML algorithms including random forests, KNN, logistic regression, SVM, boosted tree models, decision trees individually and combined in an ensemble model
- Evaluated model performance using metrics such as accuracy, sensitivity logarithmic loss, and ROC AUC, producing a final model of accuracy score of 0.9316, placed 3rd in Kaggle classification competition

- Collaborated with UMich Dir. of Derm. to conduct Exploratory Data Analysis on 150+ social media posts using Stata and R, evaluating portrayal of rosacea on social media and assess content accuracy
